Fireworks 2017

Brother Knights (and family)
We will need lots of help with this years 4th of July Sales located immediately south of Greenfields Cafe, east of Lincoln on Hwy 2 (south from Walmart).  This is one of the council’s major fundraiser and as many of you know our funds all go back out to charitable causes including Church, Youth, Family, and Community.  Without this major fundraiser, we could not do so much good.  So, we need your help.

Please click on this link and sign up for at least one shift to help at the fireworks stand.  But preferably sign up for more than one shift and more than one day. We REALLY need help with this major fundraiser for our council.  Invite your friends, relatives, children (minimum age 16) to help.  Be sure to enter your phone number and e-mail address when signing up.  If we do not obtain sufficient volunteers we will have to hire for vacant spots to be able to operate the sale of fireworks efficiently.

If any questions, feel free to e-mail me at mgallardo2344@gmail.com

Brother Knights,
It will soon be that time of the year when we will be distributing tootsie rolls asking for donations to support our council and the state’s K of C Intellectual Disabilities program.  Please go to this link and sign up.  Once we know when you are available, Gene Schiltz will contact you with the business location you will be working.
Masses are a given and sign up for after any Mass you attend.  In fact to make it easier on everyone, show up before Mass lets out, hand out tootsie rolls, attend Mass and help out after the Mass you attend handing out tootsie rolls again.   Your children are invited to also put an apron and hand out tootsie rolls with you.  Make it a family volunteerism.

Cathedral Knights Fireworks 2016

Brother Knights,

Attached is the Volunteer Schedule to sign up for the firework’s stand. We need EVERYONE’S help with this. If you haven’t been able to help much this year please help with this. We understand everyone wants to be with family and friends during this time, but please find a time to sign up to work. Consider more than one shift or more than one day in signing up. For those that have already signed up, thank you. All volunteers helping at the tent will receive 10% off fireworks.

Our tent will again be immediately south of Greenfields Café, same as last year off of Hwy 2 (South of Wal-Mart) so please share this with all of your family and friends. Pass out the attached flyer, help us out and place it at business bulletin boards or your business window.

If you know someone interested in working the registers and getting paid, have them call me. Requirements are that they must be at least 16 years of age. The shifts will be for 4 hours and they will get paid $10 per hour. We may also need their help in all of the other days/shifts if we do not get enough volunteers and again this would be at $10 per hour. Time is running out. 16 and older should start calling me now.

Overnight Security: We need at least two per night July 2 & 3. Tear down a repacking, we need as many volunteers for this to be able to get done early July 5. Consider taking July 5th off from work to help with this.

Once again, let’s make this easy for everyone by getting many Knights to sign up and cover all of the shifts. The more volunteers, the less we have to pay for help and the more the council will make to help with charities.
