St John Paul the Great Assembly will be serving hot dogs, brats, and pulled beef at the annual Veteran’s Music Festival at the VA Hospital on June 24, 2017. We need some help with this project.
NEEDED: Need one pickup for picking up a grill to deliver to the VA Hospital and also returning it after 7 pm. I will furnish the other pickup for picking up and delivering supplies.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED & SCHEDULE OF VOLUNTEERS:
8 AM – 10 AM: 4 volunteers to help pick up supplies on the day of the event. Two pickups or vans? Two volunteers per vehicle.
10 am – 11:30 am Need 4 volunteers. Booth must be set up before 10:30 am (Opening Ceremony). Set up grills and booth.
11:30 am to 6 pm 4 – 6 volunteers: Volunteers will be cooking brats and hot dogs, wrapping each and placing in coolers. Will be replenishing supplies from the location where we will have them stored on the VA Grounds. Will also help replenish supplies of water, chips, buns, etc while booth is open.
6 pm to 7 pm: Tear Down 2 – 3 volunteers which may also include the earlier shift. Reloading grill onto the pickup, packing up leftovers (if any), cleaning up, etc.

Parking will be available across 70th Street across from the VA Hospital and a shuttle will be operating transporting volunteers and visitors to and from. Vehicles bringing in supplies can not be on the VA grounds between 10 am and 6 pm.
